When We Needed a King - SATB Choral Book with Performance CD (SATB)

Composer(s): Rouse, Jay; Vader, Randy;

"When We Needed a King" is a Christmas worship experience from the collaborative team of Jay Rouse, Rose Aspinall, and Randy Vader, proclaiming the miraculous birth of a Savior just in the nick of time. As Jay Rouse wrote "You've heard the phrase, 'in the nick of time,' right? I'm guessing you've even used it a time or two. 'In the nick' is that exact instant at which something has to take place. The idea is that a 'nick' is a narrow and precise marker, so that if something is 'in the nick' it is exactly where it should be." From the mysterious and dramatic opener "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" to the thrilling conclusion in "The Coming of the King," this work illustrates and celebrates God's perfect timing. Listeners will be on the edge of their seats from the energy, creativity, and musical excitement from this remarkable writing team.
