The Seven Noels - SATB Choral Book with Performance CD (Children's Choir", "SATB)

Composer(s): Choplin, Pepper;

Pepper Choplin's "The Seven Noels" weaves together THE FIRST NOWELL tune with original words to create a compelling frame for the beloved Christmas story. Written from different perspectives and propelling the musical narrative, the "noels" appear as short interludes between songs to describe imaginative visuals. The interludes are arranged with opportunities for soloists, men's and women's features, and children's choir. Pepper also provides ideas to enhance the performance through staging and/or props. Ranging stylistically from heartfelt ballads like "A Star" to the rhythmic and energetic "Unto Us a Child Is Born" and "Never Been a Night," "The Seven Noels" is a wonderful Christmas experience for SATB choirs of all sizes.
