The Promise of a King (A Christmas Proclamation of Hope) (SATB)

Composer(s): Larson, Lloyd; Martin, Joseph M;

Old Testament prophets foretold of the Messiah who would be sent by God to earth. Those awaiting the fulfillment of that prophecy believed this promised One would come with power and might to conquer and assume a kingly throne. God's plan, though, was that the promised King would take the form of a baby and change the world not with might, but by the power of love. Lloyd Larson and Joseph M. Martin combine their composing talents to create this fresh and inspired look at the Christmas story. Pamela Martin's narration blends a powerful script with new and familiar melodies in this Christmas proclamation of hope.Contents: King Shall Come The; Celebrate The Promise; Sleep Little Baby; Let Every Nation; This Holy Christmas Night; Christmas Bells Are Gladly Ringing; Fit For A King; Birthday Of A King The
