On This Day, Rejoice (A Christmas Festival Of English Carols) (SATB)

Composer(s): Willcocks, Jonathan;

Celebrate the birth of Christ with a service of enchanting carols - old and new - from merry England. This winsome collection features eight choral arrangements of traditional carols selected by one of our leading British composers; a fine balance of original music is also included. Readings from Scripture and contemporary sources provide continuity when presented by one or several narrators. Some of the music is quite challenging, while other portions will be quickly learned.Contents: Rejoice And Be Merry; Sweet Was The Song (Jonathan Willcocks); On This Day; What Child Is This; On Christmas Night; Hush My Dear (Isaac Watts); See Amid The Winters Snow (Edward Caswell); Come All You Worthy People
