This theatre-musical piece in two acts is based on the story “El Pobre Cucarachero” from the collection “Tio Tigre y Tio Conejo” by the Venezuelan writer Antonio Arraiz with the libretto adapted by Ricardo Lorenz. It was commissioned by the Teatro Teresa Carreno.
