Fantastic Fingers, Book 5

Fantastic Fingers, Book 5 ()

By Christopher Goldston

Fantastic Fingers advances with the late intermediate pianist, featuring more complex rhythms, articulations, and harmonies---yet it remains accessible in style and spirit. Book 5 includes the energy and drive of Ritual Dance in 7/8 meter; the lush harmonies of Longing, the proud confidence of A Hero Victorious, and the cloud-like dream of Memories of Seville. Six pieces in all, pleasing to the ear and fun to play.
