Poor Wayfaring Stranger

Poor Wayfaring Stranger ()

Arranged by Teresa Wilhelmi

Teresa Wilhelmi brings her love of jazz to bear on five great African-American spirituals. Ranging in mood from the pathos of Poor Wayfaring Stranger and Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen to the exuberance of such tunes as Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and Joshua Fit Thee Battle of Jericho, these challenging and rewarding arrangements will be guaranteed crowd-pleasers wherever they are played.
