Otherworldly Resonances (Tableaux, Book 2) [for 2 amplified pianos] (Book)

By George Crumb

Facsimile printing from the composer's manuscript. Two scores needed for performance.

Originally a one-movement work written in 2002, this is the revised 3-movement version from 2005 (I. Double Helix - II. Celebration and Ritual - III. Palimpsest). In addition to amplification, this work requires several extended techniques. Mr. Crumb's performance and program notes are included (Eng./Ger.). -- "This music should sound incredibly remote and produce an almost subliminal effect."--George Crumb
