A Midwinter Carol (Choral Octavo)

A Midwinter Carol (Choral Octavo)

Words by Christina Rossetti, music and additional words by Victor C. Johnson

Christina Rossetti's beloved "In the Bleak Midwinter" sings beautifully in this lovely setting for expressive choirs. The meaningful text and breathtaking music are worthy of artistic interpretation. A gracefully supportive piano contributes a few soloistic flourishes and an optional C-instrument (oboe on our recording) adds a gentle obbligato.
