Born a Stranger (Choral Octavo)

Born a Stranger (Choral Octavo)

Words adapted from "Before the Paling of the Stars" by Christina Rossetti, music by Ruth Morris Gray

This artistic setting features a text adapted from Rossetti's reverent "Before the Paling of the Stars." A haunting melodic theme sets the tone for this minor-mode gem, which could be considered a contemporary nativity carol. Gorgeous. Accompaniment available on PianoTrax 4 CD (00-35870).
