Sleigh Ride (SoundTrax CD)

Sleigh Ride (SoundTrax CD)

Music by Leroy Anderson, words by Mitchell Parish / arr. Andy Beck

Celebrate Leroy Anderson's 100th birthday with this charming arrangement of his well-known winter classic. Singers and audiences alike will delight in each recognizable moment from the merry introduction to the final trumpeter's neigh. Mitchell Parish's clever lyrics are appropriate all winter long, and Andy Beck's vocal parts are clean and clear when sung over the SoundPax instrumentation, SoundTrax CD, or the piano accompaniment (a simple orchestral reduction).
