By W. T. Skye Garcia

Late elementary pirate-wannabes will get a kick out of counting gold doubloons and conjuring mermaids from the piano in this shimmering collection of pirate musings and amusements. Technical challenges include elementary pedaling, a variety of dynamics and tempi, legato vs. staccato playing, balancing melody and accompaniment, and hand crossings. Lyrics and scales provide contrasting imagery to help heighten artistry in performance.
