A fresh and innovative collection, created by experienced performer and teacher, Doris Gazda, High Tech for Strings, is designed to take young performers from basic technical competency to the more advanced levels of string technique. Using technical exercises in all areas of string instruction and a varied repertoire of performance pieces, some familiar classics and some special arrangements of folk material, the author has crafted a series that will systematically increase the playing proficiency of young string players and prepare them for the challenges of solo and ensemble playing.
