The celebrated words of the prophet Isaiah are often set to music but this new adaptation is a fresh and scintillating addition to the oeuvre. Written to work with organ or piano, the memorable melodic sequence that energizes the theme is a stunning moment and the fanfare-like choral acclamations of the names of the Messiah are a majestic reminder of the coming King of kings.
